The women's teams from children to senior of the red-black artistic swimming were champions of the FARJ Tournament of Mandatory Figures and Duet Elements, held online, last weekend.

Flamengo secured the top three spots in the women's youth, junior, and senior categories. In the children's category, the club took the top two spots. In the men's junior category, Mais Querido also received the highest rating, while in the senior category, it secured the third-highest score.

In this competition, unlike choreographies, the routines are performed in individual and stationary events, without moving around the pool. Therefore, technical assessment is highly required.

"The Figures and Elements tournament is a great competitive stage in our athletes' preparation, as it allows the coaching staff to assess each athlete's learning and improvement individually. They can compare themselves with other athletes and also with themselves. An increase in the final score can indicate an improvement in their technical level, which is what we always strive for," said artistic sports coordinator Roberta Perillier.

It is also worth noting that in the senior women's category, Flamengo achieved the five best scores in the competition with Duda Miccuci, Lorena Molinos, Gabi Regly, Julia Catharino and Vitória Casale, who took first to fifth place, respectively.

The artistic swimming teams of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo rely on resources from their sponsors – Banco Bonsucesso, Furnas, Estácio, LafargeHolcim/Cimento Mauá, EY – via the Federal Incentive Law/Ministry of Sports (IR), in addition to support from the Brazilian Confederation of Clubs (CBC) resulting from the decentralization of resources originating from the Pelé Law.
