Flamengo's artistic swimming returns to the scene for another competition this year. From November 23 to 25, Flamengo will be present at the State Championship with its teams from all categories, from Children to Senior. The competition will be held at the Fluminense pools, this Friday (23), and at Tijuca Tênis Clube, on Saturday (24) and Sunday (25).

On the first day of the event, the Figures competitions will be held, with the Children's and Youth teams competing. Starting on the second day of competition, all categories will participate in the choreography competitions.

Gold medalist at the South American Artistic Swimming Championship with the Brazilian National Team, Jullia Catharino commented on the importance of the State Championship.

"It's going to be a competition where we'll debut many choreographies, and the results will be crucial to our performance in the Brazilian Championship. We're training hard and focused on achieving our goals and having an excellent competition," said the athlete. 

The Brazilian Championship, the main national competition of the year, will also serve as a selection process for the 2019 Brazilian National Team. The tournament will be held at the Maria Lenk Aquatic Park, in Rio de Janeiro, between December 5th and 9th.
