Flamengo guaranteed its presence and good results in the South/Southeast Synchronized Swimming Championship, held between June 5th and 8th, at the Corinthians pool, in São Paulo.
The team of Camila Ururahy, Carla Borges, Joseane Martins, and Michelle Frota finished in first place with the theme "Happy Feet." Michelle Frota, from the senior class, shone again, placing first on the floor with the theme "Feelings."
In the Junior A category, Mariana Santos placed second in the solo section for "Angel." The Junior A category placed second in all of the solo, duet, and team categories.
In the children's category, level A and level B, Flamengo achieved good results with the performances of the red-and-blacks Gabriela Regly (3rd place in the solo), Jullia Faisllace and Gabriela Regly (2nd place in the duet), Beatriz Regly (1st place in the solo), Julia Campos and Beatriz Regly (3rd place in the duet). As a team, the red-and-black team secured 3rd place.
The South/Southeast Synchronized Swimming Championship served as preparation and evaluation for the Brazilian Championship competitions, in October and November.
