The first preliminary call-up for the Brazilian synchronized swimming team has just been announced by the CBDA (Brazilian Confederation of Aquatic Sports). Once again, CRFlamengo athletes make up the majority of those selected, totaling 19.
Of this total, nine are from the red-black team, which also has coaches Roberta Périllier and Maura Xavier.
The girls have been working hard since last Monday (7/1), aiming for the South American Championship of the sport that will be held in São Paulo, at the Corinthians pool, between the 12th and 16th of March.
Of the 19 pre-selected athletes, only 10 will represent Brazil in the competition. Eight athletes will make up the team and the Combined Free Routine (Combo) group.
