Flamengo's children's, junior and youth synchronized swimming teams are preparing to compete in the II FARJ Figures Tournament, the Aquatic Federation of the State of Rio de Janeiro. The competition, which takes place next Saturday (June 10.06), will be held at the Tijuca Tennis Club pool, and will feature the presence of the home team, Fluminense FC, CR Guanabara and, of course, Mais Querido. 

Marina Valadão, coach of the Rubro-Negro children's and youth synchronized swimming teams, commented on what the competition will be like for the girls.

"We're going to approach this tournament as a challenge. With personal and technical growth in mind, we've included our final-year Juvenile athletes in the Junior category. For the Junior girls, this will be the first time they'll compete at Level A, the highest level of competition," explained the Rubro-Negro professional.

The first edition of the FARJ Figures Tournament, held in March of this year, was held in Gávea, in the Flamengo Olympic-sized pool, named after Daltely Guimarães. The tournament was the first official synchronized swimming competition that Flamengo had the honor of hosting. On that occasion, the Flamengo athletes shone, winning four gold, four silver, and three bronze medals.

Soon, Mais Querido will host another competition in this modality, the Technical Routine Tournament, which will take place on July 15th.
