Flamengo's synchronized swimming team is now in China
The red-blacks who are part of the national team compete in the 12th FINA Cup
By Media Relations - inWith a group of 12 athletes, six of whom are from Flamengo, the Brazilian synchronized swimming team is already in Changshu, China, where they will compete in the 12th FINA Synchronized Swimming Cup from September 16th to 19th. The Brazilian team last participated in the competition in 2006, when they finished 10th. The competition is the year's most important international event and will feature 24 delegations, including major world powers such as Russia, Spain, China, and Japan.
\The event's opening ceremony is scheduled for this Thursday (September 16.09th) at 18 p.m., followed by the Combined Free Routine final. In the coming days, the qualifying rounds will begin at 10 a.m., with the finals at 18 p.m. (local time). On the 17th, the Duet events will be held, on the 18th the Solo events, and on the 19th the Team Free Routine events.
\The Brazilian team is under the technical command of coaches Maura Xavier (pictured) and Roberta Perillier, from Flamengo.
