The Brazilian synchronized swimming team, which will compete in the World Aquatics Championships in Rome from July 17 to August 2, is now at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California. The Brazilians will compete in the national championship, which brings together the best athletes from the country where synchronized swimming originated. The event, which celebrates 64 years of history, will take place from Thursday (April 30) to Saturday (May 04).

On Thursday, the free choreographies for team, duet, and solo will be performed (schedule below). There will be 18 teams in the group competition, 34 solos, and 33 duets. The solo competition will be contested by Giovana Stephan, from Flamengo.

All the athletes' focus is on the World Championships in Rome. After the competition in the United States, the Brazilian athletes will head straight to Canada, where they will participate in another national championship, this time in Quebec, from May 6th to 12th.

The team traveled with CBDA selection supervisor Mônica Rosas, coaches Maura Xavier, from Flamengo, and Andréa Curi.
