Relive the achievements of the red-black artistic swimming team in 2019
Athletes in the sport prepare for the State Championship, in October

Next month, on October 25th and 26th, the victorious athletes of Mais Querido will compete in the State Championship. In 2019, they have already achieved several victories in various competitions. Relive some of Flamengo's swimming victories so far.
Figures Tournament:
In the first stage of the Figures Tournament, held in April, Flamengo won five medals in total. Three gold medals were won in the Children's Level A category, with Giovana Faria; Junior Women's category, with Jaddy Portela; and Senior Men's category, with Renan Alcântara. Giovana Stephan took silver and Lorena Molinos, bronze, in the Senior Women's category.
In June, in the second edition of the championship, Mais Querido secured 14 medals, four gold, six silver and four bronze, and came in first place in the Beginner Children's, Children's A, Beginner Youth and Junior A categories. The gold medals came in the Beginner Children's categories, with Manuela Da Silva; Children's A, with Giovana Faria; Beginner Youth, with Isabela Pinheiro; and Junior A, with Jaddy Portela.
The 3rd Figures Tournament was held in August, and in total, the Mais Querido won nine medals and reached the podium in all categories participating in the competition. Manuela Lopes, in the Beginner Children's category; Giovana Faria, in the Children's category; Isabela Pinheiro, in the Beginner Youth category; Giovana Stephan and Renan Alcântara, in the Senior category; were responsible for Flamengo's five gold medals.
Technical Solos Tournament:
In the 58,7957st Artistic Swimming Solos Technical Tournament, held in May, Giovana Faria (72,7439), from the Children's category, and Jaddy Portela (66,9000), from the Junior category, secured first place for the Mais Querido in the competition. Ana Clara Almeida (XNUMX), the red-black representative from the Junior category, took silver.
State Technical Routines:
Flamengo was crowned champion of the State Artistic Swimming Technical Routines, a competition held in July that brought together athletes from all four categories. In the Children's category, the "Mais Querido" team won gold in the Solo event, silver and bronze in the Duet event, and another silver in the Team event. In the Youth category, the red-and-black athletes secured silver in the Team and Duet events, as well as bronze in the Solo event. The Junior swimmers also performed well, taking gold in all three events: Team, Duet, and Solo. In the Senior category, the main category, the Red-and-Black team secured first place in the Duet event. In the overall championship standings, Flamengo finished first and took the title to Gávea.
The artistic swimming teams of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo rely on resources from their sponsors – Banco Bonsucesso, Furnas, Estácio, LafargeHolcim/Cimento Mauá, EY – via the Federal Incentive Law/Ministry of Sports (IR), in addition to support from the Brazilian Confederation of Clubs (CBC) resulting from the decentralization of resources originating from the Pelé Law.
