The second half of the year for Mais Querido's Synchronized Swimming program is looking promising, as the red-and-black team prepares for the State Championship and the Brazilian Championship. The competitions will take place in October and November, respectively, and coach Roberta Perillier, known as Beta, previewed the season's continuation exclusively for the Red-and-Black team's official website.

 

Beta talked a little about Mais Querido's calendar for the second half of the year.

 

"We have the State Championship at the end of October and the Brazilian Championship in mid-November. These are the most important competitions this year, where we aim to maintain the podium finishes we achieved last year. We also have the Pan-American Championships for UANA categories, which will be held from August 22nd to 27.08th in Chile, where we will participate with our Junior Duet, with athletes Gabriela Regly and Laura Miccuci. For this competition, we know that we will have the Mexican duet as a very strong opponent," Beta emphasized.

 

The coach continued to highlight the possibility of participating in another competition.

 

"This week we received some news: the possibility of participating in a new tournament on our calendar, the Brazilian Interclub Championship, which will take place from October 5th to 10th in São Paulo. We are already accelerating our planning to participate as well," he said.

 

Flamengo's Synchronized Swimming continues its preparatory training routine at the Fadel Fadel Aquatic Park, in Gávea.

The synchronized swimming teams of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo rely on resources from their sponsors – Banco Bonsucesso, Furnas, Estácio, LafargeHolcim/Cimento Mauá, EY – via the Federal Incentive Law/Ministry of Sports (IR), in addition to support from the Brazilian Confederation of Clubs (CBC) resulting from the decentralization of resources originating from the Pelé Law.
