The technical committee of the Brazilian synchronized swimming team has already defined the members who will compete in the South American Championships of the sport, which will be held between March 12th and 16th, in São Paulo.

Once again, CRFlamengo makes up the majority of the Brazilian squad. Of the ten confirmed athletes, six are from the Rio de Janeiro club.

Initially, eight red-blacks were pre-selected in a group of 19. Gláucia Héier (photo - back), Michelle Frota, Lorena Molinos (photo - front), Giovanna Stephan, Joseane Martins and Camila Ururahy will be the official representatives of CRFlamengo in the competition.

In addition to performing in the team and being the reserve for the duet, Giovanna Stephan will also be the representative of the solos (short and long), to the theme of Salomé and Baquianas.

Roberta Périllier, Flamengo's coach, is responsible for the duo formed by Nayara Figueira and Lara Teixeira, who will also be completing the team in the combined routine test (Combo) at the South American Championship, which will have the theme “Western”.

The competition will be held at the Corinthians pool, in São Paulo.
