Red-and-black artistic swimming teams conclude their participation in the Budapest World Cup
Brazil manages to reach five finals in eight events
By Flamengo Communication - inBrazilian artistic swimming concluded its participation in the Budapest World Championships. With four red-and-black athletes, Brazil achieved unprecedented feats. Laura Miccuci, Jullia Catharino, Vitoria Casale, and Gabriela Regly helped the team achieve a prominent role in the competition.
In total, Brazilian athletes competed in five finals. The most emblematic event took place in the Team event, which is an Olympic event, and Brazil had not been among the best in the world since Kazan 2015. In the mixed duet, Brazil, with the red-black Gabriela Regly, reached the finals of both the free routine and the technical routine, finishing in eighth place.
"It was a wonderful competition, and we're very proud to be among the best in the world. We achieved our goal of reaching the finals. We still have a lot of work ahead of us, and we want to improve even further," said Gabriela Regly.
The team was also in the Combo and Highlight finals.
