Red-and-black artistic swimming athletes are called up for the Pan American Games in Lima
In total, six athletes from Mais Querido will represent the Brazilian National Team in competition in Peru.

It's the national team! Six Flamengo artistic swimmers have been selected to be part of the Brazilian national team that will compete in the Pan American Games in Lima, Peru. Giovana Stephan, Lorena Molinos, Maria Eduarda Miccuci, Laura Miccuci, Gabriela Regly, and Maria Clara Lobo, along with the other Brazilian athletes, will be seeking medals for Brazil.
For an entire week, a series of evaluations were carried out, where coaches and referees ranked the athletes with the aim of defining the nine best placed who were chosen to defend the country in one of the main competitions of the sport this season.
In addition to the six Mais Querido athletes, Roberta Perillier will be one of the coaches leading the national team. The red-and-black coach spoke about her expectations for the competition.
"We hope to put in a good performance. At the last Pan American Games, Brazil finished fourth, and now we're trying to secure a spot on the podium. We expect to arrive in a competitive position to achieve third place, which will be an excellent position for the Brazilian team," Beta emphasized.
The artistic swimming tournament at the Pan American Games in Lima is scheduled to take place between July 29th and 31st.
The artistic swimming teams of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo rely on resources from their sponsors – Banco Bonsucesso, Furnas, Estácio, LafargeHolcim/Cimento Mauá, EY – via the Federal Incentive Law/Ministry of Sports (IR), in addition to support from the Brazilian Confederation of Clubs (CBC) resulting from the decentralization of resources originating from the Pelé Law.
