Flamengo's synchronized swimming team has been doing well for a long time now. For these and other reasons, the Red-Black team consistently receives the majority of call-ups to the Brazilian national team.

However, this doesn't mean everyone will be guaranteed a spot. The selection criteria will be decided by the technical committee, comprised of Magali Cremona and her assistants Shirlei Montanari and Glaucia Tinoco.

The CBDA (Brazilian Confederation of Aquatic Sports) has already released the list of pre-selected athletes for the Junior World Championship, which will be held between August 11th and 15th, in Indianapolis, United States.
