CR Flamengo shone at the Brazilian Absolute Synchronized Swimming Championships, held this Saturday at the Guanabara pool. The red-and-black team won the silver medal with 370 points. Tijuca was the overall winner with 530 points.

In third place was the Paineiras do Morumby team, with 94 points, followed by the Argentine club Gimnasia Y Esgrima.

Lara Teixeira, a Tijuca athlete and key member of the Brazilian national team, gave her opponents no chance. Flamengo's Michelle Motta represented Flamengo in the floor event, finishing third with a score of 77,500.

Highlight for the duo formed by Giovanna Stephan and Gláucia Héier, representatives of the Rubro-Negro Duet, who totaled 86,830, leaving behind the Argentine duo, with 77,500.

Giovanna Stephan also shone in the Solo (85,667) and Free Duet (85,500) events, winning bronze and gold, respectively, alongside Lorena Molinos.

Flamengo also secured the gold medal in the Team event, scoring 86,830 points, beating Tijuca, who took the silver medal with 85,160.

The red-black team, formed by Maria Eduarda Wolf, Maria Eduarda Werneck, Giovanna Stephan, Michelle Motta, Lorena Molinos, Gláucia Héier, Marcela Pereira, Camila Ururahy and Joseane Martins, performed with the theme Happy Feet.
