Red-black artistic swimming debuts at the World Aquatics Championships this Friday (12)
In total, nine Mais Querido athletes will represent Brazil in the competition.

It's about to begin! The athletes of the red-and-black artistic swimmer will be at the service of the Brazilian National Team for the World Aquatics Championships, starting this Friday (12). The modality will be held until July 20 in Gwangju, South Korea, and will feature the participation of nine artistic swimmers from Mais Querido.
Renan Alcântara, Giovana Stephan, Maria Clara Lobo, Laura Miccuci, Lorena Molinos, Maria Eduarda Miccuci, Gabriela Regly, Jullia Catharino, and Vitória Casale, among other athletes, make up the team that will seek medals for Brazil. Roberta Perillier, the coach of the red-and-black artistic swimming team, will also be present at the competition as a member of the Brazilian coaching staff.
"We're training hard to be well prepared for the competition. Our direct rivals are the United States and Israel, who also have strong teams. We're very confident and will give it our all to win medals for Brazil," commented Beta.
After participating in the championship, the Brazilian delegation will go straight to the Pan American Games in Lima, Peru, where the sport will be played between July 29th and 31st.
The artistic swimming teams of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo rely on resources from their sponsors – Banco Bonsucesso, Furnas, Estácio, LafargeHolcim/Cimento Mauá, EY – via the Federal Incentive Law/Ministry of Sports (IR), in addition to support from the Brazilian Confederation of Clubs (CBC) resulting from the decentralization of resources originating from the Pelé Law.
