Last week, the Flamengo artistic swimmer dedicated some time to social work to promote the sport to children and young people at the Nova Gávea School, located near the club's headquarters. The purpose of the visit was to share more details about the Sempre Flamengo Sports School with students in the 4th and 5th grades of elementary school, as well as to introduce the basic concepts of the sport.

"It was great. The students participated a lot in the activities we proposed and showed great interest. Our athletes, Renan Alcântara, Giovana Stephan, and Jéssica Noutel, helped us immensely and piqued everyone's curiosity. Now, we're ready to develop new educational initiatives like this," said Roberta Perillier, the club's artistic swimming coach.

A new experimental class on the fundamentals of the sport is scheduled for May 28th, at 10 am, at Escola Nova Gávea.

The artistic swimming teams of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo rely on resources from their sponsors – Banco Bonsucesso, Furnas, Estácio, LafargeHolcim/Cimento Mauá, EY – via the Federal Incentive Law/Ministry of Sports (IR), in addition to support from the Brazilian Confederation of Clubs (CBC) resulting from the decentralization of resources originating from the Pelé Law.
