A new competition for the Brazilian junior synchronized swimming team, which features eight athletes from CRFlamengo. The delegation, made up of 12 girls, left this Friday (July 4th) for St. Petersburg, Russia, where they will compete in the Junior World Championships in the sport, from the 7th to the 9th.

The best-known name on the team is Giovana Stephan, who was part of the bronze medal-winning team group at the Rio 2007 Pan American Games. In March of this year, Giovana won everything she competed in at the South American Absolute (adult) Championships in São Paulo: solo, team and combo, and was also a reserve for the Olympic duet, formed by Lara Teixeira and Nayara Figueira.
