It wasn't this time that the red-black Giovana Stephan won her place in the Brazilian team's duet. In a selection held this Saturday (24/11), at the Guanabara Aquatic Park, Giovana formed the duet with the starter Lara Teixeira and performed individually.

The evaluation criteria involved the individual performance of the three athletes (40% of the final grade), the formation of the duet with Lara, where the execution, synchronization and the use and interpretation of the music were observed (60%).

In total, the winner was São Paulo's Nayara Figueira, from Paineiras do Morumby, with a total of 88.532 points (individual – 35.333 / duet – 53.199). Giovana finished in third place, with 85.732 (individual – 34.933 / duet – 50.799).
