In the Senior category, the main category of the event, Flamengo confirmed its favoritism and secured the trophy with 211 points, beating Fluminense, who finished in second place with 192. In the Junior competition, Mais Querido also secured the title with 126 points, ahead of Paineiras, who scored 99. Mengão also took silver in the Juvenile category and bronze in the Infantil category, making its presence felt on all the podiums.

"We came with 46 choreographies, which is a record number. The story continues. It's a huge team effort, from physiotherapists to psychologists to the coaching staff. We have tremendous support from Flamengo, which has a very high level of professionalism, which is reflected in the results. The competition was excellent, with impeccable organization. This makes a huge difference for our sport," highlighted Roberta Perillier, coach of the senior red-and-black team.

The next event in the sport will be the Junior and Senior National Selection, held from November 29th to December 1st at the Maria Lenk Water Park. The competition will determine the athletes who will represent the Brazilian National Team in the 2020 season.

The artistic swimming teams of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo rely on resources from their sponsors – Banco Bonsucesso, Furnas, Estácio, LafargeHolcim/Cimento Mauá, EY – via the Federal Incentive Law/Ministry of Sports (IR), in addition to support from the Brazilian Confederation of Clubs (CBC) resulting from the decentralization of resources originating from the Pelé Law.
