Flamengo coach participates in the National Meeting
Marina Valladão attends a meeting of coaches and referees, promoted by the CBDA, which aims to discuss matters related to the sport
By Communication - Official Club Website - inFrom last Thursday (12.12/15.12) to Sunday (XNUMX/XNUMX), the National Synchronized Swimming Meeting took place, promoted annually by the Brazilian Confederation of Aquatic Sports (CBDA). The objective of the event is to develop coaches and referees of the sport through several days of lectures and roundtables, which discuss training and officiating topics, to exchange ideas about the sport. Marina Valladão, coach of Flamengo in the Children's category and assistant to Roberta Perillier in the Senior, Junior and Youth categories, participated in the meeting.
This year, the event's main guest was international referee and former coach Jennifer Grey. The Englishwoman came to Brazil to present the changes for the new four-year period: every four years, swimming changes the figures and elements used in competitions. Marina Valladão, a Flamengo fan, praised the meeting.
"I've been going to the event since 2009, and this year's was one of the best and most productive I've ever been to, thanks to Jennifer Grey's presence. Her talk was very informative, and we learned a lot about the new rules for 2014 to 2017," he said.
