The Brazilian Winter Swimming Championships – Ruben Dinard de Araújo Trophy – will be held from June 29th to July 1st. The competition, which will be held at the Fluminense swimming pool, will feature 515 athletes from 94 clubs in 23 states.

Flamengo is the second-most-titled Brazilian champion, with five. Fluminense is the most-titled champion, with one more than Flamengo.

Under the command of coach Ney Souza, Flamengo will enter the fight for victory in the Infantil 1 (born in 1994) and Infantil 2 (born in 1993) categories. The competition will be divided into four stages in direct finals (without elimination rounds).

The red-and-black delegation has a total of 18 athletes: 12 women and six men. Among the highlights are names such as Anna Pannain, Priscila Souza (holder of the technical index in the State Championship), Gabriela Lacerda, Ana Almeida, Thiago Olabarriaga, César Miranda, Jonathan Tavares, Luiz Fernando Filho, Edson Lima, Thiago Costa, Dellys Silva, and Eduarda Dreux.
