The Super Final of the Swimming World Cup / Fina Swimming World Cup 2006/07 will begin this Friday (23/11), with the participation of 12 countries. The competition will be held between the 23rd and 25th of November, at the Minas Tênis Clube Aquatic Park, in Belo Horizonte.

CRFlamengo swimming standouts Mariana Brochado and Thiago Parravicini will represent the red-black team in the competition, which will feature big names such as American Natalie Coughlin.

Mariana has been away from major competitions since May of this year, when she was left out of the XV Pan American Games Rio-2007. Thiago, a breaststroke specialist, will try to secure a good result in the 100 and 200m breaststroke events to get closer to his dream of representing Brazil at the Olympics.
