Danilo Lima is the newest coach of FlaNatação's main team. Just after concluding one of the best years in its history, confirming its lead in the National Club Ranking for the second consecutive season, the Mais Querido continues to seek reinforcement.

Danilo arrives at Fadel Fadel Aquatic Park in Gávea for the start of a season that saw Flamengo conquer everything in 2024. The Red-Black Cardume was crowned two-time Brazilian winter champion in the senior category; two-time winter and summer champion in the junior and youth categories - in addition to having two athletes at the Paris Olympic Games.

Excited about the opportunity to work at Rubro-Negro, Danilo spoke for the first time as the club's coach.

"I hope for much success and hard work. I'm happy to be here and excited to do the best job possible for Flamengo," he commented.

Edson Terra, Water Sports Manager at Mais Querido, reinforced the importance of continuous improvement, based on recent positive results.

"The arrival of professional Danilo demonstrates Flamengo's commitment, currently leading the national rankings, to excellence and the evolution of its athlete development program," he concluded.
