Flamengo was crowned the 2007 State Swimming Champion, held between December 20th and 22nd in the 50m pool at the Júlio Delamare Aquatic Park. It was the last competition of 2007 for Rio swimmers.

Flamengo was champion in the men's, women's and overall categories.

The highlight was Thiago Parravicini who received the Technical Index and Efficiency Trophy for having obtained the best individual result and for being the highest scorer in the championship.
