Flamengo entered the Summer Junior and Senior State Swimming Championships and took both titles, winning both categories. The competition was held in Botafogo's 50m pool from November 30th to December 2nd.

With the massive participation of its swimmers, Flamengo shone in the competition that was attended by the main swimming clubs in Rio de Janeiro.

Thiago Parravicini and Mariana Brochado, the red-and-black swimming stars, not only won their events but also achieved the technical index in the 100m breaststroke and 800m freestyle, respectively. The duo is trained daily by coach Marco Lamah.

Hosts Botafogo finished 2nd in both categories.

Now, CRFlamengo is preparing for the challenges of the Absolute State Championship – Cariocão, which will be held between December 20th and 22nd, at the Júlio Delamare Aquatic Park.
