After recovering from bursitis and two tendinitis injuries in his left shoulder, Thiago Parravicini competed in the Maria Lenk Swimming Trophy, which is being held at the Julio de Lamare Aquatic Park in the Maracanã sports complex, in a restart rhythm. Thiago placed 4th in the 200m breaststroke with a time of 2:16.

The CRFlamengo swimmer also finished the qualifying phase in 4th place.

This Friday, May 4th, Thiago will compete in the 50m breaststroke heats before competing in the final on Saturday. The grand final of the 100m breaststroke will be held on Sunday, with heats on Saturday starting at 17 p.m.
