Starting this Thursday (2/8), swimmers from the children's I and II, youth I and II, junior I and II and senior categories will be competing in the XI International Tournament and the X Mercosul Swimming Cup.

The competitions will be held in the city of Curitiba (PR), with the participation of 700 athletes from 58 Clubs in 12 States.

Thiago Parravicini will represent Clube de Regatas do Flamengo. The Flamengo fan traveled Tuesday night with an extra burden on his shoulders: winning as many medals as possible.

A breaststroke specialist, Thiago, who will compete in the 50m and 100m breaststroke events, traveled with his coach, Marco Lamah, and 38 other swimmers registered with the CRF.

According to Marco Lamah, the chances of winning not just one, but many medals are high. "It's a relaxed competition. Although we haven't been here for a long time, I believe we have the potential to achieve good results."

The XI International Tournament and the X Mercosul Cup will be held between August 2nd and 5th.
