Flamengo's water polo players have been gaining ground and ensuring their place on the Brazilian national team.

The CBDA (Brazilian Confederation of Aquatic Sports) announced the list of pre-selected athletes to compete in the Junior World Championships, in Long Beach, United States, from August 18 to 28.

Before that, the athletes will be in action in the 50m pool at CRFlamengo to compete in the Brazilian Junior Championship. Three athletes will be absent from the competition. Rodrigo Nascimento, Rafael Gama, and Lucas Carlos will not be participating in the Brazilian Championship.
