The red-and-blacks who are part of the Brazilian junior water polo team have been standing out in the 14th World Championship in the category, which is being held in Long Beach, California.

Heitor Carrulo, Lucas Carlos and Rafael Gama are representing not only Brazil, but the red-and-black nation that supports and follows the Olympic sports.

In the match against Egypt, played this Tuesday (August 21), Brazil won 8-9, after falling four points behind. Brazil's comeback and strength came in the third quarter. Rafael and Lucas each scored two goals, but Heitor also made his mark with a beautiful goal.

This Wednesday, the first phase of the competition ends. Only four teams from each group will qualify for the next phase. Brazil will have its final match of this first stage at 13:30 pm (Brasília time). The match will be against Mexico. If they win, the Brazilian group will advance to the round of XNUMX against Italy.
