The Men's Junior Water Polo State Championship is about to begin. The competition will kick off this Thursday, September 13th, and will feature four Rio de Janeiro clubs: Flamengo, Tijuca, Botafogo, and Fluminense.

The Junior State Championship will be held in three rounds and semifinals and will continue until November 1st, the day of the grand final.

Flamengo will enter the competition with high morale. With the brilliant performance of its youth team, led by coach Sólon dos Santos, the red-and-black team won the Brazilian championship title in the youth category last weekend.
