The Men's Senior State Water Polo Championship began on September 15, but the referees did not show up for the first round games, which were to be between Fluminense x Botafogo and Tijuca x Guanabara.

This Saturday (22/9), if everything goes well, the second round of the Senior State Championship will be held at the Botafogo pool, starting at 16 pm.

Flamengo and Fluminense will play the first derby of the round. Next, at 17:15 PM, Botafogo and Guanabara will play. The third round is scheduled for October 6th, with Flamengo vs. Tijuca and Fluminense vs. Guanabara, starting at 18 PM in Laranjeiras.

The Men's Senior State Water Polo Championship features the participation of five teams from Rio de Janeiro: Flamengo, Fluminense, Botafogo, Tijuca and Guanabara.
