Once again, the Fadel Fadel Aquatic Park, in Gávea, will host the Water Polo competitions. This weekend, the Winter Children's Festival (born in 1994) and the Women's Youth Festival (born in 1992) will be held simultaneously. Because it is a mixed competition, clubs may field both men and women.

The Children's competition will feature 11 teams divided into two groups. Group A includes Pinheiros, Tijuca, Botafogo, Guanabara, and Fluminense B. Flamengo is in Group A, along with Paineiras do Morumby, Fluminense A, and Oficina Recreio/RJ.

In the Women's Youth competition, only two clubs will be participating. Botafogo and Tijuca were the only clubs registered and will play their three matches during the breaks between the Children's Festival matches.

In the semifinals of the Men's Youth State Championship, coached by Antonio Canetti, Flamengo drew 5-5 with Fluminense (0-0, 1-1, 3-2, 1-2). Having finished the qualifying round in a better position, the red-and-black team secured a spot in the final, which will be held on June 6th in the pool of the first-place team. The matches will begin at 1:19 p.m.

Flamengo's goals in the State Championship were scored by Nicolas (3), Iágaro and Yan, with one goal each.
