Flamengo got the better of the Fla-Flu classic. In a match valid for the second round of the Men's Junior State Water Polo Championship, held this Thursday (20/9), the red-black team faced and defeated Fluminense by 10 to 7 (1 to 1 / 3 to 1 / 3 to 3 / 3 to 2).

Flamengo's goals were scored by players Heitor (3), Frota (2), Índio (2), Luiz Fernando (2) and Vinicius (1). The game was played in the Tijuca Tennis Club pool. In the other game of the round, Botafogo and Tijuca drew 11-11.

It was Flamengo's second victory in the competition, which features four Rio clubs: Flamengo, Fluminense, Botafogo and Tijuca.

In the first round of the Junior State Championship, the team from Gávea beat Botafogo by a score of 12 to 7 (3 to 3 / 4 to 2 / 2 to 0 / 3 to 2). On that occasion, the red-black goals were scored by Frota (3), Índio (3), Heitor (3), Charles (2) and Nicolas (1).

The third round, which was scheduled for October 4th, has been brought forward to this Saturday (22/9) at the CRFlamengo pool. The first game will be between Fluminense and Botafogo at 16:30 pm. Flamengo and Tijuca will be in action shortly after.
