This Wednesday, the 23rd, Flamengo will host the 3rd round of the Men's Water Polo State Championship.

The matches will begin at 19:30 PM, with Fluminense and Tijuca. Then, the host team will play the derby against Botafogo at 20:40 PM.

In the 2nd round, held on the 9th, at the Tijuca Tênis Clube pool, Flamengo, led by coach Antonio Canetti, defeated the tricolor by 11 to 6 (2 x 1; 2 x 0; 3 x 2 and 4 x 2).

Special mention goes to goalkeeper Thiago, who prevented a penalty kick from the opponent. Flamengo's goals were scored by Iagaro (4), Nicolas (3), Lucas (3), and Victor.

The semifinals will be on May 30th.
