Flamengo was unable to repeat the excellent performance it had in the first round of the Brazilian Youth Water Polo Championship, when it defeated Guanabara 22-0.

In a match valid for the second round of the competition, the red-black team ended up suffering a 10-6 defeat to Jundiaiense. Flamengo's goals were scored by the following players: Iágaro (3), Vítor (2) and Lucas (1).

Later tonight, more matches will take place at the Tijuca Tennis Club Aquatic Park. Flamengo's next opponent, as they strive to win their fifth championship, will be the strong Pinheiros team, which is currently undefeated.
