Flamengo defeated Botafogo this Wednesday (23/05), in the 3rd round of the State Youth Water Polo Championship. The red-black team, who played at home under the command of Antonio Canetti, won the match by 22 to 3 (6x0 / 2x2 / 9x1 / 5x0).

With the excellent result, the red-black team guaranteed its participation in the semifinals, which will be played at the Fadel Fadel Aquatic Park, on the 30th, next Wednesday.

Flamengo's opponent will be Fluminense, who were defeated by the red-black team in the 2nd round, by 11 to 6 (2x1 / 2x0 / 3x2 and 4x2).

The first semifinal match will be between Tijuca and Botafogo at 19:30 p.m., followed by the Fla-Flu derby at 20:40 p.m.

The grand final of the State Infanto is scheduled for June 6th, in the 1st place pool, starting at 19:30 pm.
