After securing the gold medal in the women's competition and the silver medal in the men's competition at the Brazilian Under-21 Water Polo Cup, Flamengo has been demonstrating its potential in the water. The junior team is currently competing in the Naval Academy Tournament.

With excellent plays, the red-black team has been standing out in the friendly competition, which includes teams such as the home team, Guanabara and Tijuca.

In the first round, the team from Gávea thrashed Guanabara by a score of 23 to 0. Flamengo's goals were scored by Iágaro (5), Victor (4), Nicolas (3), Felipinho (3), Lukas (3), Daniel (2), Lucas Alves (2) and Matheus (1).

In the second round, held yesterday (Monday), Flamengo beat Tijuca 11-7.
