Flamengo secured its third consecutive victory in the Junior Water Polo State Championship and is increasingly closer to winning the category champion title.

This Saturday, in a match at the Fadel Fadel Aquatic Park, in Gávea headquarters, the red-black team beat Tijuca by a score of 9 to 6 (4 to 1 / 2 to 2 / 1 to 3 / 2 to 0). Flamengo's goals were scored by Frota (5), Heitor (2), Charles (1) and Douglas (1).

Flamengo has been showing balance throughout the Junior State Championship rounds. In the first match of the championship, Flamengo defeated Botafogo 12-7. The red-and-black team's second victory came in the following round, against Fluminense, 10-7.

The Junior State semifinals will be on October 23rd, at the Botafogo pool, with the following matches:
