The first round of the regional phase of the Brazilian Men's Absolute Water Polo Championship was held at the Guanabara pool on Wednesday night (7/11).

In a very tough match, Flamengo, led by coach Paulo Licastro, ended up suffering a defeat to Fluminense by 15 to 4 (6 to 0 / 4 to 1 / 4 to 1 / 1 to 2).

The red-black team's goals were scored by Diego (2), Rodriguinho (1) and Gabriel Dória (1).

On Saturday, the Gávea team's opponent will be Guanabara, starting at 16 pm.
