Flamengo won the last two quarters of the match, played in the Guanabara pool, this Wednesday, but was unable to reverse the final score which ended at 13 to 11 (2 to 5 / 1 to 5 / 4 to 3 / 4 to 0). The goals for Clube da Gávea were scored by Cubano (4), Heitor (3), Lucas (2), Índio (1) and Rodriguinho (1).

Today, October 11th, it's the girls' turn to take center stage. After a crushing 10-23 victory over Tijuca, the red-and-black team will face Botafogo this round. The match will be at 2 p.m. at Fadel Fadel Aquatic Park, home of CR Flamengo.
