The Junior Brazilian Men's Water Polo Cup was held until this Sunday (30/9), at Clube Paulistano (SP).

The red-and-black team debuted in the competition with a 9-9 draw against Fluminense. They then faced Pinheiros, who won the match by one point, 8-7.

In the following day's round, Flamengo suffered their second defeat. Flamengo was defeated by Paineiras 8-6, forcing them to play for seventh place against Hebraica. Botafogo was the big winner, followed by the home team.
