It's official. The Brazilian women's water polo team has gained another red-and-black team to represent Brazil during the Pre-Olympic competitions for the sport, from the 17th to the 24th, in Imperia, Italy.
CRF striker Luíza Jordy was called up to replace Andrea Henriques (Paineiras) in the competition, which will also feature players Marina Canetti and Carolina Mello, as well as Antonio Canetti as assistant coach.
Initially, six Flamengo players were pre-selected for the Pre-Olympic tournament. Luíza was already among those selected, but the confirmation came at a good time.
The Brazilian water polo team will travel to the Italian city next Wednesday, the 13th.
