Marina Canetti, one of the standout players in CRFlamengo's water polo, has been shining in Italy, where she is one of the new representatives of Rari-Nantes Florentina, which is competing in the Italian Women's Serie A1.
With all the characteristics of a winning red-and-black, Marina Canetti has been standing out and adding an extra quality to the Italian team.
Despite the losses suffered so far, the Rio native has been performing well in her matches. In Florentina's A1 debut, Marina made sure to leave her mark by scoring two goals for her new team.
Even with the defeat suffered in the second round, 20 to 6, the red-black team improved its aim by scoring three of the six goals, against the current Italian champion, Fiorentina.
Mariana Canetti is one of the seven red-blacks called up to represent Brazil in the Pre-Olympic Water Polo, which will be held in February, in the city of Imperia, Italy.
