The red-and-black team's opponent in this fifth round will be Guanabara. The match will be the first tonight. Next up are Tijuca and Botafogo.

The semifinals of the Adult State Water Polo Championship will be this Thursday, November 1st, in the 2nd place pool.

The only team already guaranteed a spot is Fluminense, which will face the fourth-place team. The other semifinal matchups are as follows:
