Training daily and at an intense pace, the Brazilian women's water polo team, led by coach Roberto Chiappini and assistant coach Antonio Canetti, from Flamengo, is in the final stages, aiming for the Pre-Olympic competitions of the sport, which will be held in February, in Italy.

The women's team, which includes six athletes from the red-and-black team, is undergoing a process of development and innovation. There's nothing better than a change from the old training routine. This Saturday (January 20th), a circuit training session will be held on Leblon beach in the southern part of Rio de Janeiro.

The Brazilian men's team has only one representative from CRFlamengo, Heitor Carrulo.

After training on the beach, each team will head to their pool. The women's team will train at the Gávea headquarters, while the men's team will train at the Naval Academy pool.
