The website/blog Garotas do Water Polo, created by the select Brazilian women's team, has released the schedule for the Women's Water Polo matches at the Pan American Games, which will begin on July 14th at the Júlio de Lamare Aquatic Park, in the Maracanã Sports Complex.
Brazil will be represented by the red-and-black sisters Cecília, Marina and Manuela Canetti, in addition to the players Ana Carolina Vasconcelos, Flávia Fernandes, Camila Pedrosa, Luiza Carvalho, Tess Oliveira, Catherine Oliveira, Melina Teno, Andréa Henriques and Viviane Costa.
The official opening of the XV Pan American Games will be on July 13th, with a grand celebration at the Maracanã Stadium. The following day, the Brazilian women will be in full swing competing against the top teams in the Americas.
