The Brazilian Youth Water Polo Cup came to an end this Sunday with Paineiras do Morumby being crowned the 2007 champion. The competition was held between June 29th and July 1st, at the Bolão Aquatic Park, in Jundiaí (SP).

Flamengo, under the command of coach Solon dos Santos, finished in 5th place, but had player Charles as the competition's top scorer, with a total of 19 goals.

The red-black team secured 5th place after beating Botafogo 6-5, repeating the 2006 final, when they beat the black-and-white team on penalties.
