This Sunday, the 24th, the Arraiá do Remo (Remo Festival) will be taking place, promising to liven up the area around Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas. The event will begin at 17 p.m. at Flamengo's nautical headquarters.
One of the organizers' main goals is to bring together as many athletes as possible from all of Rio de Janeiro's rowing clubs. The event will also be open to the public, with admission costing R$2,00.
Fun-loving folks won't want to miss this! Arraiá do Remo will feature a variety of attractions, including a square dancing competition, a bonfire, a forró group, traditional foods, and a performance by the laid-back remo square dancing group.
Flamengo, Vasco da Gama, Botafogo, Guanabara Club, Naval School, Naval Club, Piraquê and Caiçaras, united by an ideal, together for fun.
