Flamengo promises to do well in the 3rd Regatta of the State Championship.

With race, love and passion, the CRFlamengo rowers prepare for the 3rd Regatta of the 2008 State Rowing Championship, which will be held next Sunday (25/5), starting at 8:30 am, at Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas.

Currently second in the overall standings, Flamengo promises to come out swinging to turn the tables. "If they (Vasco fans) think we're going to bow our heads, they're mistaken! We'll have a warrior Flamengo at every Regata," assures coach Marcos Amorim, known as Marcão.

According to the Red-and-Black captain, in addition to the daily physical and technical work, there is a strong sense of camaraderie among everyone involved. The rowers are motivated by the coaches' dedication and respond with great commitment to training and overcoming challenges. Take Chico and Kassia, both junior rowers who will move up a category and debut in the 3rd Regatta, for example.

Athlete Juliana Guimarães (Four Skiff Senior B) reveals that, despite the pressure of her opponent being ahead in the Championship, she is very calm about the race. - "I'm thinking positively, feeling like everything will work out."

Marcão, who took over the team in 2003, praises the efforts of all the athletes who are working tirelessly to ensure Flamengo consistently achieves excellent results. "It's tough, but things will start to work out in our favor. This Regatta has many youth events."
