The three representatives of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo who competed in the national selection, held at the USP Olympic track in São Paulo, secured their places to represent Brazil in the Rowing Pre-Olympics, which will take place in November.

The qualifiers ended this Saturday (22/9), with the victory of the red-black rowers Thiago Gomes and Thiago Almeida, in the Lightweight Double Skiff. The other Flamengo representative, Kissya Cataldo, finished behind Fabiana Beltrame in the Women's Skiff event, with a time of 8min03sec48, guaranteeing the reserve spot.

Highlights of Clube da Gávea, the duo formed by Thiagos beat their opponents Rui Valle and Ronaldo Vargas, from Grêmio União, with a time of 6min30sec33 and secured their place in the Lightweight Double Skiff.
